Dedicated to those whose houses are in need of renovation!

Well I have decided to dedicate my blog today to other girls who are in dire need of new kitchens and renovations. My house is a mess – it always is a mess – even when it is tidy. And like Little Rene I nevel feel as though our house is quite nice enough to have people over regularly. (Although at least you actually have builders there)
The kitchen as you can see is 70’s yellow and brown – as are the curtains. The oven in the kitchen pic does not work – only the stove top works.
The sparse area that you can see near the back door on the left hand side of the picture is the designated spot for our new kitchen – and through the back door will be a beautiful sprawling deck that will look over the picture of the trees. The only nice piece of furniture we have at the moment is our lounge suite! Complete with cat! But we have almost piad it off – only 4 years to go! Then we can renovate and we will have a beautiful house. I am not by anymeans complaining becasue despite its quirky characteristics I love this house and I have a vision of it being the perfect house for us one day.
From the third picture – taken just this morning- you can see that it is raining here today! What a treat – rain in Brisbane!!!!
I am going to a trivia night that work is putting on tonight, for today I have a day of study planned! Might even go to the library where there are no distractions. I have to go out and do some errands this morning so I might find a nice dry coffee shop and curl up with a book for a while. I think I am allergic to something in this room – everytime I come in here my eyes start watering and I strt sneezing. Must go!

Tedious work

I am just having a little break from the tediously boring work I am doing today. Next week I have to start interviewing patients for my work project and today I have been stuffing envelopes and hand addressing them to patients all morning to get the information for participants forms out to them. So boring!

Well my exciting news for today is that I have purchased the competitors course from Josh. Perhaps not that exciting! But I have just had a quick look at the forum and that looks pretty cool – I think that I could be spending some time there tonight! I noticed that there are a few people I know who already post there which is very cool!

Anyways I had better be going becasue I get the feeling that my boss is keeping an eye on me today. That and I have a million things to do. I have the day off tomorrow and the weeks just seem to be flying by. I am presenting a paper at a conference in 1 month and I need to get started on writing the presentation this afternoon.
