Humidity!! That is crazy – Why isn’t it raining. I have just been out running in the 78% humidity and right now I am not a pretty sight. I was going to take a photo of my red face but I did and it was so unattractive I can’t possibly post the pic!

I really like saying “Good Morning” to people when I am out walking/running in the mornings. Some people are so shocked when you do it! Hehe.

So I ran solidly at 6min/km for 3km and then I ran/walked the rest of the way. the second half of the lap has LOTS of hills! As my fitness increases I will be able to run the hills.

ACTION

Today I decided was the day that I would create some action. When I woke up this morning I said to myslelf – Today I am going to have a perfect day of eating, I am going to log it on Calorie King, I am going to plan my meals for the rest of the week, and I am going to get this ball rolling.

So, today the stats are as follows:

2Egg whites, 1 Whole egg, 1 slice multigrain toast

Pitta wrap, tuna, celery, capsicum, tomato, lettuce, 4 bean mix, splash of sweet chilli sauce

Nectarine, 2 small plums

Can of Pepsi max

Tonight we are going to dinner at the Norman which means steak. So I will choose a conservatively sized steak and salad.

According to calorieking that means I will have consumed around 950 cal for the day.

This morning I also Mowed our lawn (large lawn) and did around 30 minutes worth of tree/shrub pruning. Which according to calorie king counts for 357 calories burnt.

So a good day on the whole!

So my mantr to focus on for this week is “I could have it if I really wanted it, but did I really want it?” I need to really listen to my body. I need to stop and think and plan my food. “I can eat it if I want it, but do I really need it?”
