day 1 over

I made it through day one. I even went to the shops (forgetting my obsession for the next 12 weeks is on exercise and healthyness rather than shopping – momentarily) this afternoon and came home too late – exhausted and I still did my strength training for today – albeit at home with my dodgy adjustable plate weights and fitball. I really don’t feel like I can do as good a job at home, but at least I can do something rather than nothing. I think that I would really prefer to do all of the exercise component in the morning, I know that it helps me to stay on track with my food throughout the day and it means that I dont have “one more thing” to do in my day at the end. I am always tired after I have driven home from work and I don’t really like going out again.
I was on plan all day with food – there was even a put on pizza lunch today and it didn’t even call my name – most probably because it was domino’s pizza and it isn’t all that good. If I’m going to eat pizza I want it to at least be good pizza. It has taken me three years to be able to take that attitde though. The rest of the week will be a bit more tough. There is a christmas lunch tomorrow which I have to go to (it’s at a turkish restaurant) and there is a BIG christmas lunch on Friday – but at least I know there will be healthy options there at that one. I think I’ll just susbstitute those meals for a free day this week. And try to attempt a guess at tha cals consumed.
calories for the day today are 1140 so far – but I plan on having some yoghurt before bed so will end up at around 1300.
the best thing was I wasn’t hungry at all all day – I felt like I had so much food to eat!
My checklist for tomorrow is done:
- Make lunch and snack items for tomorrow
- Pick out clothes to wear tomorrow and lay out
- organise gym clothes for the morning – cardio day tomorrow
