I just can’t think of a title today. I think I have had a few days of stress related sticking my head in the sand. I haven’t been focused on training at all and yesterday I am positive I consumed somewhere in the region of 10000 calories. (Not really but it probably wasn’t that many). My weight on the dodgy scales seems to be stable – I have been doing a tiny bit of exercise but nothing at any real intensities.
I think that I am in holiday mode because I am away from home.
I will go and do some speed work tonight though. It is another day another hospital today – but hopefully today we can get Mark’s mum some treatment in the pipeline.
I didn’t end up going swimming yesterday -I am having a bit of a mental resistance to going swimming when it is sooo cold outside – even though it is a heated pool. That and I’m not really sure what to do. I know that I will get bored swimming laps up and down up and down but I don’t know what else to do – and I need to make sure the heart rate is highish enough to be useful.
Tomorrow I am going out on the bike with Mark’s cousin for a lap around Lake Burleigh Griffin.
As for food – I am determined to have an on track day today. There are no excuses for eating poorly as I have all of the tools – I just need to find the mind set again.
